We were recently called in to assist with a contractor who had attempted to remove large amounts of graffiti from one of Bristol’s central Listed buildings. They had exhausted the common methods of sandblasting and chemical removal, to no avail and needed our help.
Laser cleaning isn’t as easy as ‘point and shoot’, the parameters of our machines must be fine-tuned to each substrate in order for it to be the most effective form of cleaning, all whilst protecting the original surface materials.
Cotswold Stone, Concrete, Granite, Brickwork, Steel and Aluminium, are amongst a few of the materials we have tried and tested successfully throughout our graffiti removal journey.
Although Bristol is well known for its iconic graffiti, which often draws in tourists to enjoy this artform, sadly like many areas throughout the country, most forms of graffiti are classed as vandalism/criminal damage and not only give an unkempt impression where unwanted, but also encourages more unsightly ‘tagging’ and so the problem continues to escalate.
